About us

Van Donk Internettools B.V. (VDI) is a young company, set up in 2010, which has its registered office in The Netherlands and is a member of the Van Donk Group. The oldest company in the Van Donk Group, Van Donk Subsidie-Adviseurs B.V. (DSA), started up in 1988.

Managing director and owner of the companies in the Van Donk Group is P.J. van Donk, born in Eindhoven in the Netherlands on 21 January 1961. Trained as a policy biologist, he originally specialised in environmental and energy subsidies before turning to all-round subsidy consultancy. Van Donk also obtained his Bachelor in Economics and insurance mediation diploma and he is a recognised insurance intermediary with the Netherlands Financial Markets Authority (AFM), placed with Van Donk Assurantie-adviseurs V.O.F. (VDA).

Van Donk has also spent more than 20 years working in different roles for the Volvo and Mitsubishi motor companies, such as Financial Affairs Manager and Managing Director of NedCar Insurance B.V. at Netherlands Car B.V. (NedCar), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. Van Donk has also been director of Volvo Group Re, a reinsurance company in Luxembourg, as well as treasurer of the VCBV Pension Fund and the NedCar Early Retirement Foundation.

Through his previous employers Van Donk began to develop increasingly as a Risk Manager and he has been a member of the Netherlands Association of Risk and Insurance Managers (NARIM), the Netherlands Risk and Insurance Manager Group (NRIMG) and the Association for Risk Management (GVRM).  

Van Donk is also attached to The Hague University in The Hague in the Netherlands as an examiner for its Basic and Register Risk Manager training and at the same time is a member of the Advisory Board of the Risk Manager Masters course.
